Went with my girlfriend and my dog on monday night! Staff was super welcoming and sat us down immediately! Ordered the Prawn Peri Peri and Tikka Masala. Probably the best meal I've had in a while. Definitely coming back more often!

This was my first time eating here on a Saturday night. The restaurant was beautiful and not that crowded. The dining room is nice and quiet which I enjoyed even though there were kids at two tables. The restaurant is open until 1:00am we were very surprised. The service was amazing and the food was delicious especially the Butter Chicken. I did notice several delivery orders going out.

If you are a fan of traditional Indian cuisine, you must try Mandala Indian Cuisines. Warm hospitality and a tastefully decorated atmosphere greet guests as they enter, laying the groundwork for an unforgettable meal. The menu features an ideal combination of classic dishes and creative creations, all made with the freshest ingredients and brimming with flavor. The aromatic biryani was the show-stopper, but the butter chicken and freshly made naan were delicious, too. Whether it's a formal dinner for two or a more informal get-together, Mandala Indian Cuisines never fails to impress. I strongly suggest it!

This was my first time eating at this particular, Indian restaurant, and honestly, I didn't even know it was there!! Apparently my son ate here once before and mentioned it to my dad, and it sounded like the perfect thing to fit our carnivore, vegetarian and pescatarian family! Lol My son and dad loved their lamb chops and random meat dumplings along with some other type of steak or something in a curry mixture. While my mom and I ourselves with the vegetable curry and another coconut curry. I tried a couple pieces of some chicken with basil or mint and that was just delicious also. Sorry, I completely forget the name of the dish, but my son ordered it and he loved it! Lol. There were only a couple people at the restaurant since we went rather late, but it was really nice to sit in a separate room from everybody else granted our voices and laughter echoed because of the high vaulted ceilings. Noise blocking/floating ceiling pieces. I'm sure that would help , customers get a little more personal ambience. It was another table. Kitty corner from us and they were laughing so loud we could hear almost everything they said. Lol Our server was a nice gentleman and very courteous and attentive! My son finished his glass of water quickly, and somebody came by to refill his glass before he couldn't even ask!! I would love to come back here and dine again, especially since they have vegetarian as well as delicious dishes for carnivores as well. Lol.

Beautiful spot located on one of the main streets of saratoga - scenic and quaint at the same time :) Thankfully we made a reservation ahead via yelp of time and found a free parking spot on the street right outside the restaurant, as we got lucky! The place has gorgeous outside seating as well 3 options of indoor seating areas. They do have a full bar, a decorated indian rickshaw for pictures and clean restrooms. The service was impeccable and loved how friendly and attentive the servers were. We left feeling very welcomed and well taken care of!! In $80 (before tip) we got: - mango lassi - free 5/5 with yelp check in - butter chicken 5/5 we asked for "spicy" and spicy it was!! Next time maybe do medium when dining with kids :) huge portion and lots of chicken pieces - chicken momos 4/5 the taste, filling and sauces was perfect. The qty of 5 pieces in a $13 plate seemed too less. Also, the folds of momos kept opening for all 5 pieces. - garlic naan (without butter) 5/5 too good and fluffy - onion chilli kulcha - skip it! - lamb seekh kebab - 3.5/5 it was a sizzler with huge portion size. The green chutney truly complimented it

Late Friday afternoon in Saratoga brought me to an early dinner at Mandala. The restaurant is located along the Saratoga Avenue stretch with several other businesses. Although the restaurant wasn't packed, it was early and the staff was very happy to seat me and my company. Immediately I asked if they served goat... The goat dish was splendid and served with the perfect biryani rice. The meat was tender and very delicious. The cocktail I had evades me but it was also refreshing and delicious. At the end of our meal, there were more people arriving. The bathrooms are clean! What a way to a review's perfect ending.

Everything overall was great and the food was delicious. This restaurant is a bit on the pricier side, but the presentation and service make it worth it. I would skip the salmon coco curry. PS the avocado chaat only comes with 3 pieces - the server was kind enough to let us know since there were 4 of us dining, so we added an additional.

As a restaurant in historic downtown Saratoga, the prices are equally comparable, averaging around 20-30 dollars. However, this is one of the times where I found the taste and portions to be more aligned with the price. This satisfied my craving for Indian food in a wonderful manner. Seating indoor and outdoors is nice and refined similar to many other restaurants in the area, and our server was attentive, kind, and helpful. The chicken korma (one of the recommended dishes) was flavor packed and filled with a good portion of meat. I am always skeptical of ordering curry at Indian restaurants because the bowls tend to be small and not have enough meat; however, Mandala delivered. Along with the basmati rice, one order of the curry would have been enough to satiate us. The bread basket seems to be more expensive than other places regarding prices for naan, but at the very least, it was tasty and plentiful enough for sharing. The pesto naan was fragrant and the butter naan was rich; all of the naan paired so well with the curries. Lastly, the methi paneer tikka might've been the one dish where we felt like it was small, but each chutney (especially mango) was fresh and contributed a lot to our meal.

Mandala is an outstanding and beautiful restaurant that serves delicious food spiced to your taste. All five dishes served to our table were perfectly done and very ample portions. We were pleased to be able to order ala cart rather than serve ourselves from the buffet. We were there on a Saturday afternoon at lunchtime. The restaurant is sparkling clean and the decor, plates and flatware are elegant. Napkins are cloth. Service is friendly, professional and prompt. There is a beautiful bar. The Taj Mahal beer is light and refreshing. Extra spice is served on the side and diners can request their food to be mild or spicy. The grape and avocado arugula salad is an exceptional delight. Restrooms are clean but the paint in the ladies' room is not at all pleasing to the eye and will hopefully be changed. Parking in Saratoga can be tricky, but there are large parking lots behind the shops with rear entries available.

Came for a weekday buffet lunch (we had heard there were lunch specials,,. But they just had buffet or standard menu). We were seated right away and the server was friendly and attentive (clearing plates as we finished.) The buffet was good - I believe $21 per person, which also included fresh naan brought to the table. As a non-spicy eater, I appreciated that everything was mild and I could appreciate the food without my mouth burning! They offered veg and non-veg items. Salad, fruit, chutneys, and dessert was available. Fried items, curries, and tandoori items were also available. Ooops... we were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures of the food itself! Next time!
